Who doesn’t like a nice FPS game on the go eh? Call of Duty Mobile announcement graced us a couple of months ago and a beta version of the game has been available for quite some time now. We still don’t have any official word on a possible release date but the latest Call of Duty Mobile Beta was just released for download on Android.

COD Mobile, Release Date, and Details

The BR craze on desktop and consoles carried over to mobile when PUBG mobile and Fortnite mobile were launched on Android and iOS. Riding on the popularity of their console/PC counterparts, these games have done so well on mobile that their active user numbers have exceeded that of the console/PC version of the game by millions.

Now, Activision wants to get in on the action and take a piece of the mobile market through COD Mobile. So far, we don’t know the actual release date of the game, however, several details regarding game modes were revealed by Activision some days ago. The game will launch with five modes: Free-For-All, Frontline, Team Deathmatch, Hardpoint, and Domination.

For maps, we already knew Nuketown, Crash, and Hijacked would be available, but the game will also have Crossfire, Standoff, Crash, and Killhouse maps. In terms of characters, players will get to choose from Alex Mason, Thomas Merrick, and Simon “Ghost” Riley.
